Since many of us are stuck at our desks and computers for extended periods, we often experience lower back pain which can make us feel exhausted. To recover from this, I have made use of a Chi Machine - an amazing piece of equipment that everybody should have access to.
This is a relaxing way to increase your energy levels and all it takes is up to 15 minutes a day - on your back!

Using a chi machine may be a bit complicated at first even although they have had a lot of publicity and have been seen on some well known TV shows.

Here are some of my tips to help get you going:
Adjust your position for comfort and safety, as (for example), some people have one leg longer than the other, or different ankle shapes.
Make certain that your back is comfortable. Your knees ought to be supported with a soft cushion or other similar item.
Make sure your neck is also supported with a small cushion.
Let your arms lie to your sides, about a foot from your body with palms upwards.

Relax while you are using the chi machine. If you are too stiff you cannot respond properly to the movement. A chi machine applies a swaying movement to move energy from your feet to your head. If your legs are too stiff, the motion will not travel through your body and you'll not get the benefits. If you have a wave going from head to toe then you are getting the benefit.

Try practising for 5 minutes at the start then check how you feel the next day. Likewise, it's crucial to lie still for about two minutes after using the chi machine.

Be sure to drink plenty of water after using the machine as you would do for exercise and wellness in general. This way you can remove toxins that have been freed up during the process.

Proper use of the chi machine will ensure that you feel the benefits quickly.
